Tektite is a pixel-art game set inside a building where the Philippine stock market lives. Walk the halls, learn at the Library, practise at the Training Bourse, play with friends and make a unit your own. Each part below has a short clip and the steps to try it yourself.
Prototype: the partners are sandboxes, no real money moves, and nothing here is investment advice. Companies, prices, people and e-mail addresses in the clips are fictional.
The first screen asks for the name other investors will see and an outfit. Then you are in the Main Hall on 1F, with the whole building to explore. You can play offline too: the name is only shared in multiplayer rooms.
How to
Pick English or Filipino at the top right of the first screen.
Type a name and choose an outfit.
Press Enter the building. A bus brings you to the Main Hall doors (Skip arrives at once).
If asked whether to share anonymous usage data, answer No thanks (nothing is shared until you say yes).
Walk up to the plaque in the Pavilion garden and read it.

The "● 1 here" badge shows you are connected to the multiplayer room. Without the realtime server it says Offline and the game runs single-player.
On a phone or tablet the game shows an on-screen D-pad and an A button. Held upright, the screen shows about 12 tiles across and a tall strip of the map.
How to
Hold the arrows on the D-pad to walk; a quick tap only turns you.
Face a person or sign and tap A to talk, then tap A again for the next line (tapping the text box works too).
Tap an emote button at the bottom, or the chat box to type a message.

The white circle in the recording is a fingertip, added to the video only. Use ?touch in the address to see the touch controls on a computer.
Tektite is a building and the grounds around it: the Main Hall on three floors, both concourses, the East and West sector halls, the Mall, the East and West towers, the head office on 27F of the East Tower, the chapel, the grounds and Tektite Avenue.
How to
Walk through a door to go to the next area. Stairs on 1F and 2F lead up and down, and the elevators in the towers lead to the residences.
The second lift in the East Tower lobby goes up to 27F, the Tektite team's head office: look into each room through the glass, and drop by Customer Service, the one room open to everyone.
The name of each area shows at the top of the screen when you arrive.
Press M any time for the building map with directions to any place.
Notes
This recording walks the first door and then hops through the other areas, so it stays short. Walking between all of them takes a couple of minutes.
Press M for a map of the whole building and the world outside, with where you are marked in red, and step-by-step directions to anywhere you pick from the list.
How to
Press M (or tap the map button in the top bar).
On the Building tab, pick a place from "Find a place". The route lights up and the steps are written out.
The This area tab shows the room you are in: doors, people and your own position.
The Metro Manila tab shows where the building stands (see Metro Manila: where Tektite stands).
Tektite’s home is Metro Manila. The map’s Metro Manila tab shows the National Capital Region as a pixel map: its 16 cities and 1 municipality in their 4 districts, Manila Bay, Laguna de Bay and the Pasig River, eleven landmarks, and the Tektite tower in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
How to
Press M and choose the Metro Manila tab. The green diamond is the Tektite tower.
Tap anywhere on the map to see which city it is and which district it belongs to.
Pick a landmark from the list: its numbered pin lights up and a line says what it is and which city it is in.
Notes
The landmarks are places to read about on the map; you cannot walk into them. The towns you can ride to are on the country map at the terminal (see Outside: the street, the country map and rides).
It is a game map, not a survey: one tile covers about 470 m.
Benches, stools and pews are real seats. Walk up, face one and press the action key to sit. Only one player can sit on a seat at a time; anyone else is told it is taken.
How to
Stand next to a bench, stool or pew and face it.
Press Enter (or A). You sit down, and everyone else in the room sees you sitting.
If someone is already on that seat you are told so; pick another.
Press any arrow key or the action key to stand up again.
Walk out of the 1F glass doors onto the grounds, down to Tektite Avenue and use the terminal: a country map with seven towns (and Singapore overseas) to ride to. Rides are free and take a few seconds, and your first visit to each town pays 5 tektites.
How to
From the Main Hall, walk out through the glass doors, across the grounds and down to Tektite Avenue.
Walk onto the terminal at the right of the street and choose Ride.
Pick a town on the country map. Hovering or focusing a town draws the route.
Watch the ride (or press Skip) and look around when you arrive. To come back, use the terminal in the town and choose Back to Tektite.
Notes
The map is not about trading: these are places to see. Each town has a fictional listed company with a presence there.
The whole game speaks English and Filipino: the first screen, the HUD, panels, and the dialogue of the people in the building. Pick on the first screen or any time in Settings; it applies at once.
How to
On the first screen choose Filipino (top right), then enter a name as usual.
Everything switches, including the dialogue. Company names, ticker symbols and chat stay as they are.
To change it later press ? in the top bar, open Settings and pick a language.
Notes
The choice is saved on the device. Server messages (refusals, receipts) are translated too.
The game and its panels are built to WCAG 2.2 AA and checked in Chromium, WebKit and an iPhone profile: everything works from the keyboard with a visible focus ring, panels trap focus and give it back, dialogue is announced to screen readers, and text size, reduced motion and sound are in Settings.
How to
Press Tab to move between the buttons in the top bar. The focused one has a ring. Enter presses it.
In a panel, Tab stays inside it, the arrow keys move between tabs and radio buttons, and Esc closes it and puts focus back where it was.
In Settings choose larger text, reduce motion (no typing effect, pulses or slides, and it follows your device setting), and set the volumes.

Notes
The game world itself is drawn pixels and cannot be read by a screen reader; the dialogue boxes, notices and panels around it can.
On a small screen every panel (the Library, the map, Help, your wallet) becomes a full-screen sheet with the title at the top, the content scrolling in the middle and the buttons within reach of your thumb.
How to
Open a panel the way you normally do: talk to a person, or tap a button in the top bar.
Scroll the content with your finger; tap ✕ or press the back button to close.
The Library on 3F has six short lessons on investing, each with a three-question quiz. Pass a quiz (2 of 3 right) and you earn 2,500 tektites, once per lesson. A lesson you have not passed can be read and retried as often as you like.
How to
Take the stairs up to 3F and talk to the librarian (Enter).
Pick a lesson from the list and read it page by page with Next.
Press Take the quiz and answer each question.
See your result. A pass shows "✓ passed" in the list and adds tektites to the pill in the top bar.

The lessons are the same in English and Filipino. Quiz answers are marked on the server for signed-in players, so a score cannot be edited on the device.
The Library also has profiles of all 12 listed companies, grouped by sector, each with what it does and today's simulated price. The companies are fictional.

Prices follow the clock and are simulated, so the numbers in the recording differ from what you see.
Practise trading 12 fictional companies on simulated prices, with 100,000 training tektites and the real PSE rules: board lots, price ticks, commissions and fees, and the 0.1% sales tax on sells. No real money moves.
How to
On 3F, talk to the Training Bourse clerk.
Pick a stock. The chart shows today so far; quantity moves one board lot at a time.
Choose Buy or Sell, check the fees in the summary, then press Post order. A market order fills at the price when you post it.
Open the Portfolio tab to see what you hold, the average cost and your profit or loss.
For a Limit order, set the price you want. It waits as an open order (the cost is set aside) until the market reaches it, and can be cancelled.

Notes
Your first training trade earns tektites, and so do a few more each day (see "Earn tektites").
Unfilled limit orders lapse at midnight Manila time. Reset training account starts over with 100,000.
Tektites are the in-game points you earn by taking part: registering at the front desk, passing Library quizzes and trading in the Training Bourse. A deposit into a fund brings tektites too, when it arrives. You spend them on furniture and homes. They never turn into pesos.
How to
Register at the clerk on 1F for a welcome gift (5,000 tektites).
Pass a Library quiz: 2,500 tektites per lesson, once.
Make your first training trade (2,500), then a few more each day (500 each).
Watch the gem pill in the top bar: every reward also pops up as a notice.
Notes
More ways: your first visit to each town on the country map, a barkada reaching its weekly goal, a passed Spot the Scam round, and trying every product at the cafeteria counter.
Rewards tied to real money show as "pending" for 7 days before you can spend them.
Every newcomer has a dorm room in the East Tower, from the first minute. Spend tektites on furniture from the Mall shops and put each piece where you like. Friends can visit your room.
How to
In the Mall, talk to a shopkeeper and buy furniture or gadgets with tektites.
Take the East Tower elevator to the residences. Your dorm room is the last door on the floor: walk into it.
Walk in. Face the home panel by the wall and press Enter, then choose an item and press Place. It goes on a free tile next to you.

The home panel is in the corner by the door, so furniture grows out from there. A rug can be walked on; other pieces block the tile, so leave yourself a way out (or pick a piece up again).
This recording starts with a save pre-filled with 40,000 tektites, so the purchases do not need hours of earning first.
The studios on the same floor open after your first deposit, and the premium units in the West Tower at a higher rank (see Buying a studio, and selling it back).
The opening in the right-hand wall leads to your balcony (see Your fund tree).
Tektite Wear, on the Mall floor, sells outfits and gear for tektites. Outfits change only how you look, to everyone in the building: a cap and tee, a courtside jersey, a Barong Tagalog or a trading-floor suit. Running shoes give you one more sprint in each Chaos Pit round. The four colours you could pick at the start stay free.
How to
In the Mall, talk to the outfitter of Tektite Wear, in the middle of the floor.
Press Buy next to an outfit or the running shoes. Each is bought once and kept.
Press Wear next to any outfit you have. Wearing shows the one you have on.
Notes
Gear helps only in play, never with money or odds, and one pair of running shoes is all anyone can use.
This recording starts with a save pre-filled with 40,000 tektites.
Once your first deposit has reached a fund, you can buy a studio in the East Tower (20,000 tektites): a bigger room than the dorm, furnished the same way. If you change your mind, the tower buys it back for less than you paid, and your furniture goes back to your inventory. Until then, a studio door tells you what is still needed.
How to
Verify your identity at the partner bank and make a first deposit (see Identity check and Deposit into a fund).
Take the East Tower elevator to the residences and walk into a studio door. The door tells you the price and what selling it back would give. Choose Buy to own it.
Walk in and furnish it from the home panel, exactly like the dorm room.
To sell it back, open the home panel inside the studio and press Sell back. You are asked to confirm, then you are back in the corridor.
Notes
The player in this recording has tektites already saved up. Your dorm room stays yours when you buy a studio, and it can never be sold.
Bigger homes open as you go: the East Tower’s mid floors at the rank of Broker, its upper floors for Full Members, and the West Tower’s premium units at the rank of Floor Trader. Rank comes from showing up, not from how much you put in (see Rank and your deposit streak). Once a home is open to you, you buy, furnish and sell it back exactly like a studio.
How to
In the East Tower residences, the stairs on the left lead to the mid floors and the lift on the right to the upper floors. Each says who it is open to.
For the West Tower, walk to the West Concourse, take the elevator and walk into a premium unit door. The door tells you the rank it opens at, and your own.
Once a home is open to you, the same door offers it: choose Buy, then furnish it from the home panel.
Notes
The player in this recording is a Runner, so the door is not open to them yet. A home you own stays yours if your rank later drops.
Every area is a shared room. You see the other players walk around with their name above them, and the top bar says how many are here. Players with an account have a white name tag; guests have a grey one.
How to
Just walk in: the room you are in is shared automatically.
Look for the "● N here" badge in the top bar.
Walk up to someone and say hello with chat or an emote.
Notes
If the multiplayer server cannot be reached the badge says Offline and the game carries on single-player. Unit interiors are always private.
Registration at the front desk works like a real counter: take a number from the ticket machine, wait for it to be called (the top bar shows yours and the one being served), then go to the clerk. Your welcome gift of 5,000 tektites is paid when you are served.
How to
On 1F, walk to the ticket machine on the left wall and press Enter to take a number.
Wait. Sit on a bench if you like. A notice tells you when your number is called.
Walk to the registration clerk and press Enter. When your number is up you are served and the welcome gift arrives.
Notes
Numbers are called every few seconds in the prototype. In single-player (offline) the clerk registers you straight away.
Chat works in the registration area, the cafeteria and outdoors. It is moderated because scams spread through chat: links, e-mail addresses, phone and account numbers, and "guaranteed returns" or send-money messages are refused before they are sent, and profanity is masked.
How to
Press T, type a message and press Enter. Others in the room see it above you and in the chat log.
A message that breaks the rules is refused with the reason, and stays in the box so you can change it.

Notes
The rules are the same on the server, so editing the page cannot bypass them. Names are checked too: 2 to 12 letters, no profanity, and nothing that looks like staff.
Any chat line can be reported to the moderators, and any player can be muted so you no longer see what they say. Moderators review every report and can mute or ban.
How to
Click a line in the chat log.
Choose Report to send it to the moderators, or Mute to stop seeing that player.
A muted player disappears from your chat for the rest of your visit.
Notes
Reports go to staff with the message and a little context. Enough reports on the same player mute them automatically for a while.
Friends see each other's name, outfit and home, never money. Share your friend code or invite link, add a friend with theirs, visit their unit and leave kudos. Friends need an account (sign in at the partner bank first).
How to
Tap the heart in the top bar. Your code (TK-…) and a Share link button are at the top.
Type a friend's code and press Add. They get a request to accept.
Once accepted, press Visit to walk into their unit as a guest (read-only), and use the home panel to Give kudos. A kudos each day per friend counts toward a weekly mission.
Notes
The invite link pre-fills your code when your friend signs up. Friends can be removed at any time.
A barkada is a small group of friends that learns together. Each week it shares a goal of Library quizzes passed; when it is reached, everyone collects tektites. Nobody pools money or tektites.
How to
Open the heart and choose the Barkada tab.
Type a name and press Start, or paste a friend's BK-… code and press Join.
Share your barkada's code. The bar shows the group's progress this week and what each member has passed.
When the goal is reached, press Collect for your share of tektites.
Every Monday (Manila time) three new missions appear, the same for everyone: learning, spotting scams and being social, never trading. Finish one and collect its tektites. Below them are the achievements: one-off milestones, such as planting your tree, passing every Library module or hosting a private Chaos Pit round, each paying a few tektites once. And the first week of every season is a festival at the Pavilion, with its own challenge.
How to
Tap the star in the top bar.
At the top, Festival: in the first week of each season (Bagong Taon, Panagbenga, Tag-init, Flores de Mayo, Kalayaan, Tag-ulan, Buwan ng Wika, Paskong Pinoy), three things to do that week. Finish them and press Collect for festival points and the season’s keepsake, a framed picture to place in your unit. Between festivals it says when the next one opens.
Each weekly mission shows its progress and reward. Press Collect when it is done.
Scroll to Achievements: a ☆ one is still to earn, with how to earn it; a ★ one is yours, with the date. Achievements pay by themselves when you reach them.
The badges you have earned also hang on the Badge wall, on the home panel in your unit.
Notes
Social missions (visit a friend, give kudos), festival rewards and achievements need an account.
Specialists can start a festival a day before it opens to everyone. Keepsakes are never sold: the only way to have one is to be there.
Achievements never reward trading profit or the size of a deposit. Those tied to your fund or your identity are held as pending for a few days first, like every such reward.
The ? in the top bar opens Help: send feedback to the team, switch anonymous usage data on or off, and open Settings. The game asks about usage data once; it stays off until you say yes, and it never includes your name, e-mail or amounts.
How to
Tap ? in the top bar.
Type what is confusing, broken or missing and press Send feedback. The team reads every message.
Under Privacy, tick or untick sharing anonymous usage. It is off unless you turned it on.
Notes
Feedback sent while signed out is anonymous. Signed in, the team can reply to your e-mail.
You can play as a guest. To keep your progress on the server and to open real accounts with the partners, sign in with just your e-mail: Tektite sends a 6-digit code, no password. Your guest progress stays on the device and comes back if you sign out.
How to
Tap the peso pill in the top bar (it says Guest), or talk to the bank teller on 1F.
Enter your e-mail and press Send code.
Type the 6-digit code from your inbox and press Sign in. New players in the closed beta also enter an invite code, and can add a friend's code.
Notes
In this sandbox the code is filled in for you, so no inbox is needed. On the real server the code arrives by e-mail and is never shown in the game.
A new device signing in sends you an e-mail, and you can sign out any device in the Account tab ("Your devices").
Once you have added a passkey (see Passkeys and your devices), Sign in with a passkey under the form signs you in with no code.
The partners are simulated sandboxes: no real money moves, and the pages they show are stand-ins.
The identity partner checks you are who you say you are: a government ID and a selfie. Passing makes you a Member: you can deposit into a fund and buy a studio. Verifying earns tektites once. In the sandbox the partner's page is a stand-in with an Approve button.
How to
Open the partner bank (peso pill, or the teller on 1F) and stay on the Account tab.
Press Verify my identity. The first time, read how your details are used: what the identity partner collects and why, what Tektite keeps, and your rights. Tick I agree and press Agree and continue. The partner's page opens in a new tab.
Complete the check there (here: Approve), then come back to the game. Your identity now shows Verified, with the date your ID on file runs out.
Later, when you renew your ID or move house, press I renewed my ID or My address changed on the same tab and show the partner again. As your ID nears its end date, the tab reminds you.
Notes
The reward for verifying is held as "pending" for 7 days before you can spend it, like every reward tied to real money.
Keeping your details current earns tektites and points, like other identity rewards held as pending for a few days first.
Your membership shows on the Account tab: Visitor, Member or Full Member. A Member can go on to become a Full Member with proof of address and a second ID, which raises the monthly deposit limit shown on the Fund tab.
The partners are simulated sandboxes: no real money moves, and the pages they show are stand-ins.
The identity check can also be played as the registration queue on 1F. Take a number; when it is called, the clerk hands you the counter form. While the identity partner checks it, wait in the lounge, and the counter calls you when you clear.
How to
Sign in at the partner bank first. Then, on 1F, take a number from the ticket machine by the benches.
When your number is called, talk to the registration clerk and choose Fill in the form. The first time, the counter shows how your details are used; tick I agree and press Agree and continue. The identity partner’s page opens (here: Approve).
Wait in the lounge (the benches, the chat, Spot the Scam on the TV). When the check clears, a notice says the counter is calling you: you are a Member.
Notes
The Verify my identity button at the partner bank opens the same check, and asks for the same agreement.
The partners are simulated sandboxes: no real money moves, and the pages they show are stand-ins.
A deposit goes into an index fund at the fund partner: the Philippine index fund, the US index fund, or a split of the two. When it arrives you receive tektites for it: 100 for every peso, less an exchange fee shown on the Fund tab (a higher rank lowers it). Your first deposits collect in a sapling pot; at ₱1,000 your tree is planted, the pesos are invested and their tektites arrive together.
How to
Open the partner bank and choose the Fund tab.
Move the slider to say how much of each deposit goes to the US index fund (the rest goes to the Philippine one), and press Save. You can change it for later deposits.
Enter an amount (₱100 or more) and press Deposit. The partner's checkout opens in a new tab.
Pay there and come back. Under Your trees you see what each fund is worth, and the list below shows each deposit and the tektites it brought.
Notes
Deposits are only for verified players. Investing carries risk: a fund can fall as well as rise. Tektite recommends neither fund, and nothing here is investment advice.
Tektites arrive when the fund confirms the pesos, not when you pay. If a deposit cannot be invested, the pesos go back to your peso balance and no tektites are given.
The partners are simulated sandboxes: no real money moves, and the pages they show are stand-ins.
Taking part regularly earns you a rank: Runner after your first deposit reaches a fund, then Clerk, Broker, Floor Trader and Specialist. Rank looks at the last three months, so it slips slowly if you stop, while your fund keeps growing either way. A higher rank lowers the exchange fee on your deposits. What counts is showing up, not the amount: a day with a deposit counts the same whether it is small or large, and trading profit never raises your rank.
How to
Open the partner bank and choose the Fund tab. Your rank and streak shows your rank and how far along you are to the next one.
Below it is your deposit streak: the days in a row with a deposit. A second deposit on the same day does not add to it.
Each month you have a few rest days. A missed day uses one instead of breaking your streak; if they run out, the streak drops part of the way, never to zero.
Notes
Passing Library lessons and verifying your identity also count toward your rank. Each week of deposit days in a row brings a small bonus in tektites, the same for everyone.
Your rank also shows on the Account tab.
The partners are simulated sandboxes: no real money moves, and the pages they show are stand-ins.
Every home has a small balcony with a pot on it. When your deposits reach the seed deposit and are sent on to your fund, a tree is planted there: a narra for the Philippine index fund, an oak for the US index fund, or both side by side when your deposits are split. It stands for your fund, and it grows with time, not with the size of a deposit. Only you see your tree: a friend who visits sees the balcony and the pot.
How to
Go home: your dorm room, or a studio or unit you own.
Walk to the opening in the right-hand wall, face the pot and press the action button.
The balcony tells you how your tree stands. Choose See my fund to open the partner bank’s Fund tab, which shows what your fund is worth.
Notes
Before any deposit the pot is empty. A first deposit puts a seed in it, the seed deposit plants the tree, and a tree that has stood a while is a grown one.
The tree is a picture, not a promise: a fund can go down as well as up, and nothing here is investment advice.
The partners are simulated sandboxes: no real money moves, and the pages they show are stand-ins.
On 2F, the PSE Trading Room lists ten stocks priced in tektites: 100 for every peso of the price. You buy and sell with the tektites you have, at the market price or with a limit order that is good for the day. Each order pays a commission, lower at a higher rank. The room opens once your first deposit has reached a fund. The companies and prices are fictional stand-ins, simulated until licensed market data is in place.
How to
Take the stairs to 2F and talk to the trader on the floor.
Pick a stock, buy or sell, and the quantity in board lots. The panel shows the price, the cost in tektites and the commission before you send anything.
Press Buy. The tektites leave your balance at once and the shares appear under Your holdings, with how long you have held them.
Choose Limit to name your own price: the order waits, with its cost set aside, until the price reaches it or the day ends. You can cancel it and get the tektites back.
Notes
Holding a position for 7, 30 and 90 days counts toward your rank. Trading more often does not, and profit never does.
Each room has a Leaderboard at the bottom of its panel: the players who have shown up most in that room over the last 90 days, with their place and rank. It opens at the rank of Clerk, and it never shows tektites won or lost.
There is no short selling: you can only sell what you hold. Everything here is paid in tektites, never pesos, and nothing in the room is investment advice.
The partners are simulated sandboxes: no real money moves, and the pages they show are stand-ins.
Next to the PSE floor on 2F is the US Top 20 desk: twenty large US companies, priced in tektites. A US price is in dollars; the room turns it into pesos at the day's rate, then into tektites at 100 for every peso. A single US share can cost a great deal, so you can buy a fraction of one, from 0.01 of a share. The companies, prices and rate are fictional stand-ins, simulated until licensed market data is in place.
How to
On 2F, talk to the trader at the US desk.
Pick a stock. The panel shows its price in dollars, the pesos to the dollar, and the price in pesos.
Type how many shares you want: 0.10 is a tenth of a share. The cost in tektites and the commission update as you type.
Press Buy. Your fraction appears under Your holdings. Market and limit orders work as in the PSE room.
Notes
When the room keeps market hours, the US market trades overnight, Manila time, and its prices stand still through the Manila day.
Like the PSE room, it opens once your first deposit has reached a fund, and holding a position counts toward your rank where trading more often does not.
The partners are simulated sandboxes: no real money moves, and the pages they show are stand-ins.
Through the door in the top-left corner of 2F is the Chaos Pit: a short trading game, played in rounds, on an exchange floor as it was long ago. You write a slip, run it to the clerk’s window, and the clerk posts it a little later, at the price by then. It is a game: the companies and prices are made up for each round, and luck plays its part. It opens once your first deposit has reached a fund.
How to
On 2F, walk through the door on the far left and talk to the pit steward. The panel shows the entry fee, the round float you will trade with, and how many rounds you have left today.
Press Enter a round. The opening bell rings once the floor has had a moment to fill. Other players in the round are on the floor with you.
Walk up to the clerk’s window and press the action button to write a slip: a company, buy or sell, and how many shares. Hand it in.
The round is shown on the right: the chalkboard, your float and shares, and your slips with the clerk. A notice tells you the price each slip was posted at.
At the closing bell, anything you still hold is sold at the closing price. The steward tells you what the round made or lost and where you placed, and your round float comes back with the result.
Notes
The chalkboard runs a little behind the price. A slip handed in right after another can be mixed up. Rumour runners whisper at the edges of the floor, and what they say may be false; you can pass a rumour on to players near you. When the panic bell rings, every price jumps at once.
Press X, or the Sprint button, to run faster for a few seconds. You have only so many sprints in a round.
From the rank of Broker you can open a private round on the steward’s panel and share its code; friends who can enter the pit join with it, and you ring the opening bell when everyone is in. Places in a private round earn no points.
A round cannot lose more than its round float, and you can enter only a few rounds in a day. Rank comes from playing a round out and from your place in it, never from tektites won. The steward’s panel has the floor’s Leaderboard, ranked the same way, which opens at the rank of Clerk.
Everything here is paid in tektites, never pesos, and nothing on the floor is investment advice.
The partners are simulated sandboxes: no real money moves, and the pages they show are stand-ins.
Every peso and tektite movement is a double-entry record that is never edited. Batches of records are sealed with a Merkle root, and you can check any of your own entries against its sealed root on your own device, instead of just trusting the server.
How to
Open the partner bank and choose the Ledger tab. Each line is one movement: deposits, what was invested, tektites received, rewards and spending.
Press Verify on an entry. Your device recomputes the proof and shows ✓ In anchor #… with the root, or a ✗ if it does not match.
Notes
In the sandbox a Seal a batch now button seals new entries straight away; the real server does it every few minutes.
Pesos and tektites are separate accounts in the ledger: no entry ever mixes the two. A deposit is one entry in pesos, and the tektites for it are another.
A passkey signs you in with your phone's or computer's face, fingerprint or screen lock, with no e-mail code. The Account tab also lists every device signed in to your account. Whenever a new device signs in, or a passkey is added, Tektite e-mails you; if you do not recognise one, remove it or sign it out here.
How to
Open the partner bank on the Account tab and scroll to Passkeys.
Press Add a passkey, enter the code we e-mail you, and press Confirm and add. Your device then asks for your face, fingerprint or screen lock.
Next time, press Sign in with a passkey on the sign-in form instead of sending a code.
Under Your devices, press Sign out next to a device you do not recognise, or Sign out all other devices.
Notes
A passkey works on the device or password manager that keeps it. On another device, sign in with an e-mail code, and add a passkey there too if you like.
Removing a passkey here stops it signing in; you can also delete it from your device.
Passkeys work in a browser on your phone or computer; the apps keep signing in with e-mail codes.

You decide how much goes in. Set the most you will deposit in a month, or take a break from deposits and the Chaos Pit for 1, 7 or 30 days. Your fund keeps growing either way, and a break never costs your streak.
How to
Open the partner bank on the Account tab and scroll to Limits and breaks, or open Help and press Open limits and breaks.
Type a monthly limit in pesos and press Set limit. A lower limit applies at once; a higher one, or Remove my limit, applies only after a waiting period, and the date is shown.
Under Take a break, pick how long and press Take the break. Deposits and the Chaos Pit stay closed until it ends, and it cannot be ended early.
Notes
The partner bank also keeps its own monthly limit for each membership; whichever is lower applies.

Send pesos back to your own bank or e-wallet over InstaPay. Saving a payout account and sending money out each need a fresh e-mailed code (to keep your money safe), and a new payout account waits a short period before it can receive money.
How to
On the Cash tab, press Add bank or e-wallet under "Cash-outs go to", pick the bank, and enter the account number and the name on the account.
Press Save, then confirm with the 6-digit code we e-mail you.
Enter an amount and press Cash out. If it has been a few minutes since your last code, confirm again with a fresh one.
Notes
The account number in the recording is a made-up placeholder. (The sandbox bank rejects payouts to 0000000000 on purpose, to test the reversal.) In this demo the waiting period for a new payout account is switched off so the cash-out can be shown straight away.
The partners are simulated sandboxes: no real money moves, and the pages they show are stand-ins.
You can take pesos back out of a fund at any time. Withdrawing removes unspent tektites: up to 100 for every peso you take out. Tektites you have already spent, and what you bought with them, stay yours. The pesos arrive in your peso balance, and from there you cash out to your bank or e-wallet.
How to
On the Fund tab, go to Withdraw from a fund, pick the fund and enter an amount.
Press Withdraw. The game tells you how many unspent tektites will be removed, and asks you to confirm with a fresh e-mailed code.
When the fund confirms, the list shows the withdrawal and the tektites removed, and the pesos are on the Cash tab.

The garden on 1F changes with the Philippine calendar (Bagong Taon, Panagbenga, Paskong Pinoy…). When a brand sponsors a season, the banner and the plaque say "Sponsored" with the brand's name and message, and nothing else.
How to
Stand in the Main Hall on 1F: the garden is in the middle, with a banner for the season.
Walk up to the plaque below the garden and press Enter to read it.
When a sponsor is approved, the banner and plaque change and say Sponsored.
Notes
Staff review every brand and every campaign before players see anything. Sponsor copy cannot contain links, phone numbers, prices or investment claims.
Brands see only how many devices saw their banner and read the plaque, never who they were. The fictional brand in this recording is "Halo-Halo Hut".
Each season, the Specialist who has shown up most lately may give the garden its name from a shortlist of Philippine flowers, at the plaque. The banner and the plaque then show the name and who gave it.
Brands can have a store of their own on the Tektite grounds. First there is a building site with a "Coming soon" sign; when the store opens, talk to the shopkeeper across the counter and buy catalog items with tektites.
How to
Go out through the 1F glass doors onto the grounds and look for the plots near the towers.
A site says what is coming. Talk to it to read the notice.
When a store is open, walk up to its counter and press Enter. The shopkeeper greets you in the brand's own words, then the shelves open.
Buy an item with tektites. It goes to your inventory, ready to place in your unit.
Notes
The store in the clip belongs to a fictional brand. The recording starts with 10,000 tektites already saved up.
An activation is gameplay a brand adds to Tektite, with or without a store. The first kind is a character cameo: a character who stands somewhere in the world and talks in the brand's voice. Staff review every word and switch it on; it runs only while every switch allows.
How to
Walk the grounds. A cameo stands on a fixed spot (here, by the fountain).
Face them and press Enter. They say their lines, one speech bubble at a time.
When staff switch the cameo (or its kind) off, they are gone the next time the map loads.
Notes
Cameo copy is held to the same rules as sponsor copy: no links, phone numbers, prices or investment claims.
In the East and West sector halls, orders are written on slips. Read the board of prices, fill in a slip, carry it to the floor trader, and watch him pin it on the board behind him. The trader posts the order when he takes it.
How to
Walk into the East Hall (or the West Hall) from its concourse.
Talk to the board and press Fill a slip. Pick a stock from that hall's sectors, buy or sell, and the quantity in board lots. Take the slip.
The slip shows in the top bar. Walk to the floor trader and press Enter to hand it in.
A slip for the wrong hall is turned away with a hint about which board it belongs to. Tap the slip in the top bar to tear it up.
The 2F cafeteria counter sells products from the listed companies: pandesal from Masa Foods, kapeng barako from Tala Holdings, halo-halo from Dalisay Group. Each one is a way to learn how a company earns. Try them all and the canteen card pays a bonus once.
How to
Take the stairs to 2F and walk to the cafeteria counter at the bottom of the hall.
Talk to the cook and press Enter.
Buy something with tektites. Its stamp fills in on your canteen card, and the card says which company makes it and what that company does.
Notes
A full canteen card (all six products tried) pays 2,000 tektites once. This recording starts with a pre-filled save so the purchases are affordable.
A different partner brand can run the kiosk in the Mall each season, selling up to four catalog items under its own name and message, always labelled "Sponsored". Items cost the usual tektites.
How to
Walk into the Mall from the East Concourse.
Face the brand space sign by the kiosk, or talk to the kiosk keeper, and press Enter.
Buy an item with tektites. It goes to your inventory.
Notes
Staff review the kiosk before players see it. This recording starts with a pre-filled save.
The TV in the 1F waiting area plays a daily mini-game: a handful of messages, posts and offers, the same for everyone. Say whether each one is a scam or looks legit, and learn the signs: guaranteed returns, urgency, secrecy and paying to get paid. Get enough of them right for a reward, once a day.
How to
On 1F, walk to the TV near the waiting benches and press Enter.
For each card press Looks legit or It is a scam. You are told why straight away.
Enough right answers earn tektites (once a day); the panel says how many. A new set comes tomorrow.
Besides the partner bank teller on 1F and the ATM on Tektite Avenue, the East Tower lobby has two bank branch counters. They handle sign-in, identity checks, deposits into a fund and cash-outs, exactly like the main teller.
How to
Walk to the East Tower from the East Concourse.
Talk to a teller at the counter and press Enter.
The partner bank opens: Account, Cash and Ledger tabs.
Notes
The partners are simulated sandboxes: no real money moves.
